Association of Abandoned Cats Rescue Selangor and Kuala Lumpur is founded by Jamil bin Ismail (jamilkucing), which was organized by the newly set up is continuation of the voluntary work done by jamilkucing long time ago. Jamilkucing’s nickname came out since 1993 while he was carrying out charity work as a rescuer of abandoned cats, which at that time he was still working. About around seven years ago he has been doing this as a fulltime job until he managed to establish the association named “Persatuan Perlindungan Kucing Selangor dan Kuala Lumpur (PPKSKL)” with the support of few animal’s lovers.

PPKSKL also has support and still under discussion with Selangor state government to build a cats garden or garden for abandoned cats as tourisms attraction, and it is in the pipeline, and still looking for a suitable location in Selangor state. As a new association, to set up the source of funds is the problem for PPKSKL as we need to provide varieties of matters and planning. As the society is not getting any help from the government, so PPKSKL need support from people who loves animals, especially stray animals for their food and shelters.

By all this, as chairman of PPKSKL, I take this opportunity to apply for the funds of the society. Those who is interested to donate can contribute either by cheque to PERSATUAN PERLINDUNGAN KUCING SELANGOR DAN KUALA LUMPUR or by cash direct to the Chairman of the association, Encik Jamil bin Ismail (I/C No: 691101-08-6073).
